MANUFACTURER NOTICE: Garment must fit user correctly. It must be worn over heavy boots and pants. All closures must be fastened. This garment is designed to protect the leg only. Protection is provided only in the area backed by the TurtleSkin system. This system was tested and successfully repelled actual Diamondback Rattler and Cottonmouth snake strikes and bites. In addition, this system stopped a simulated snake strike of paired 0.05” diameter needles weighing a total of 150 grams at 0.63 joules. The system also stopped a simulated snake bite of a 0.042” diameter needle at 1.49 pounds with a penetration limit of 0.03”.  U.S. Patents 5,565,264 and 5,837,623 and other patents pending apply.
